APSU Accounting Alumni Senior Scholarship
The APSU Accounting Alumni Scholarship is a one-time only honor, per recipient, that will award two scholarships per year. The recipient’s total financial aid, including this award, must be less than the recipient’s total tuition and fees.
One scholarship will be awarded to an incoming full-time (12 or more hours per semester) freshman declaring a major in accounting. The freshman recipient must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.75 and minimum ACT of 28. Freshman applicants are also required to submit an essay stating their accounting history (classes, work, etc.) and why they have an interest in the accounting profession.
A second scholarship will be awarded to a final-year undergraduate senior majoring in accounting. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.75, have completed Intermediate Accounting II, and submit a letter of recommendation from an accounting faculty member to be considered.
